A 163 piece set of sterling silver flatware in the Cambridge pattern (1899), monogrammed and retailed by Hope Brothers (Knoxville) comprising 12 dinner knives (9”), 12 dinner knives (9.5”), 11 butter spreaders (5.87”), 12 dinner forks (7.75”), 12 forks (7”), 12 salad forks 6.5”), 12 cocktail/seafood forks (5.37”), 12 ice tea spoons (7.5”), 12 soup spoons (6.62”), 10 teaspoons (5.62”), 12 individual grapefruit spoons (5.62”), 12 demitasse spoons (4.12”), 6 dessert spoons (7”), 6 serving spoons (8.5”), one round serving spoon (8.37”), a large solid cold meat serving fork (8.25”), an olive fork (5.75”), a small fish server (6.12”), a 7” ladle, a cream ladle (5.75”), a small cucumber/tomato server with saw edge (5.87”), a small sugar tongs (4”), a sugar spoon (5.87”), a lemon fork (4.25”). Total approximate weight (less 0.5 troy ounces for each stainless blade) 183.43 troy ounces. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Susan E. Yeomans of S. Battery, Charleston, South Carolina (a descendant of former Governor of South Carolina Ibra C.
