- Lot Description
c. 1874-77, early mark from 550 Broadway, and with "English Sterling" mark of 925-1000, Tiffany being the first American firm to use .925 as a standard for American made silver, pattern number 1511 and order number etched 4854. Beaded trim, floriform handle with mythical figurehead mount to lower joint, repousse griffin decoration cartouche monogram "H.C.R. from A.P." 9" high, 40 ozt. very good condition.
