William Glackens (American, 1870 - 1938). Portrait of Girl, Ink on heavy paper, mounted to mat board, signed.
William James Glackens was an American realist painter and one of the founders of the Ashcan School, which rejected the formal boundaries of artistic beauty laid down by the conservative National Academy of Design.
14 x 15 inches mat; 9 × 10 7/8 inches paper.
Private Collection, Boston, USA.
Very good condition with minor surface grime throughout, but especially around the edges of the paper.Condition
