Robert Bauer was a commercial artist with a concentration in landscapes and portraits. He ran Bauer Art Service in New York. He work was used in a poster to promote the buying of US war bonds for WWII. It was also used to raise money for the China Emergency Relief Committee in 1941.

Condition
Good condition, minor surface grime, no damage of note. The frame is in poor condition but stable.
