Otto Aguiar (Brazilian, 1938-2006) : Morning on Axixa, 2004. Giclee in color on paper. Signed in gold ink, lower right and numbered 161/245.
Otto de Souza Aguiar is best remembered for his richly colored works that adeptly paired the fertile, sultry atmosphere of the tropics with a regal, colonial elegance.
14 x 11 sight; 27 x 23.5 inches framed.
Purchased in 2005 at Park West Gallery, Registration No. 134790.0083. Private collection, Boston.
