Nathan Oliveira was an American painter, printmaker, and sculptor, born in Oakland, California to immigrant Portuguese parents. Oliveira adopted a painting process similar to the abstract expressionists, applying pigment to his canvases and working almost at random until an image began to assert itself.

Good condition overall; a diagonal crease runs through the top half of the paper; handling marks through out; residue from previous mounting in two lower corners.
