Miss Bugs (British, 21st Century): Junk Caps (Pepsi), 2022. Polyurethane UV resin and pigment with encapsulated discarded food wrapper. Unnumbered series of 3000 artworks forming part of the installation at The Jealous Gallery in August 2022. Each piece is unique and varies in composition, artworks are accompanied with a signed COA, plinth and bespoke packaging.
Mixed media artist Miss Bugs launched a major new installation at London's Jealous Gallery, mashing up the worlds of contemporary art, big pharma and fast food. 18 months in the making, Do No Harm – The Dispensary features more than 6,000 supersized capsules and tablets, displayed around – and spewing out from – a 'sentient' vending machine.
Miss Bugs are a London-based street-art partnership (a boy and a girl), working together since 2007. From their early days, they have preferred to keep a low profile choosing to communicate through their artwork rather than through media appearances, therefore, not much is known about them.
