Fairfield Porter (American, 1907-1975) Attributed: Winter Landscape, 1966. Oil on canvas board, signed and dated verso, unframed.
Fairfield Porter was born in Winnetka, Illinois. A realistic artist, he is best known for his landscapes and sunlit views of interiors, although he also did portraits and still lifes. His work is often described as modernized American impressionist.

Good overall condition; board is bent/ creased upper right corner; light surface grime throughout; small pinholes areas of paint loss on edges.Condition
