From the artist's bio: I 'm a self-taught artist, born and brought up mostly in Liverpool/England. I began painting since finding it was the only thing that brought a calming effect over my childhood hyperactive tendencies. I didn't think about painting seriously until seeing some early Roy Lichtenstein and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec works which strongly influenced me and my painting style. travelling experiences have changed my life and painting techniques also. now giving me enthusiasm to focus my unrestricted energies in simplifying my paintings in a bold, fresh, way. I take inspiration for my work from many things the imagery of the 1950's culture, movies, comic books, pulp-magazines travelling and studying more traditionalist contemporary artists. I don't have the vocabulary to put into words what I want you to feel, see, sense when you see a painting of mine so I try to let my paintings do the talking for me and hope you enjoy them as much as I did painting them.
