Arthur Lismer, CC RCA was an English-Canadian painter, member of the Group of Seven and educator. He is known primarily as a landscape painter and for his paintings of ships in dazzle camouflage.

Condition
Very good, well preserved condition; this painting has a significant amount of surface grime/ dust throughout; the upper right corner of the board is very slightly warped inward; possible moisture damage, only apparent in the back bottom half of the panel.
