American School Landscape with Explorers, late 19th Century. Oil on canvas, framed.
This painting is a tribute to the spirit of exploration that has driven Americans throughout history, and would make an excellent addition to any collection of American art or historical memorabilia.
21.25 x 31.5 inches framed; 17 x 37 inches canvas.
Private collection, New England, USA.
Very good condition scattered areas of surface grime and paint loss around the edges; the impression from the stretcher has left a mark visible on the front of the canvas.Condition
