After Jean Cocteau (French, 1889-1963) : Le testament d'orphee (Surreal Portrait), 1960. Pen and ink on paper, signed and dated below, unframed.
Cocteau was one of the most multi-talented artists of the 20th century. In addition to being a director, he was a poet, novelist, painter, playwright, set designer, and actor.
11.75 x 16.5 inches paper; 29.6 x 41.5 cm.
