    Ink Paintings

    Ink paintings originated in Eastern Asia mainly from China around the late periods of the Song dynasty in Japan where the monks used this technique of painting. As oil paintings are popular in the western part of the globe the ink painting takes a massive share of the East. Ink paintings got popularized among the scholars who aimed for the excellent persona to fit into one's position as a nobleman. The paintings were primitively created on rice papers, silk, washi. an absorbent material used to minimize errors. It is a process of using carbon black ink with various applications method of calligraphic brush paintings. These paintings are monochromatic since it uses only one shade of color i.e. black and the art is created by light to dense stroke and splashes using a brush to form an illustration. This style of painting helped to convey a poetic message to people around the area. Not limited to only that sometimes these arts were to record the events, scenario, landscapes which later became very intriguing to people. Ink paintings are very famous with people around the world these days. It's simple, easy, and pleasing to the eye. There is a variation of these vintage styles which is more eye-catching and it just makes the work look beautiful. The style and size come in many variations which can be helpful to find a one each like.
