1936, Italy. A contemporary artist, Pedro Friedeberg is celebrated for his sculptures, paintings, and prints. His works interlink psychedelic motifs and architectural principles. Pedro Friedeberg is mostly associated with Surrealism, a movement that flourished in the 1910s. His famous works, titled Hand Chair brought him wide acclaim. Born on January 11th of 1936, Friedeberg traveled to Mexico when he was only 3 years old, in an attempt to escape the Holocaust. However, in 1960, he decided to drop out of architecture college in order to emphasize on painting.
