Switzerland, 1888. Carl-Friedrich Bucherer, along with his wife Luise, started his watch and jewelry shop in Lucerne. In the 1920s, the sons of Carl-Friedrich and Luise Bucherer: Ernst and Carl Eduard Bucherer, joined the company, helping the company reach greater heights with the help of their expertise. In 1924, Ernst Bucherer collaborated with Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of a well-known watch company worldwide, Rolex. Wilsdorf still remains Bucherer’s most valued partner. The company opened more shops, with greater prospects in business. Jörg G. Bucherer, the third generation of the family, took control of the business in 1977 and extended the company to Austria in the 1980s and to Germany after 10 years.
Bucherer commemorated its 125th anniversary in 2013 and established the biggest watch and jewelry store in Paris. In 2016, Bucherer established another store in the Scandinavian region in Copenhagen. With the addition of The Watch Gallery in 2017, the firm opened more shops in London as well. Bucherer is currently Europe's top watch and jewelry retailer. It provides the largest collection of Rolex watches along with lavish timepieces from other popular companies for customers worldwide. Bucherer watches for sale present a variety of rare and high-end timepieces. The jewelry collection created at the company's in-house design studios is mostly unique handmade pieces.
