Chinese Porcelain

Chinese porcelain is the process of pottery making that helped in the development of art and pottery in China. Chinese porcelain was founded in China so the name Chinese porcelain was given to it. Chinese ceramics are made by heating and forming them into certain shapes that can be used for different purposes. During the historical period, it was mostly used in the imperial court of China. Later most of the ceramic porcelain was made for industrial purposes. Also, most of the porcelain was transported to the different eastern parts of Asia as diplomatic gifts by the emperor of China. Chinese ceramic had a great influence on the other ceramic history. Chinese porcelain is divided between the one made for the imperial court for decoration or rewarding purposes, and the other made for introducing the Chinese production. There were also some items made only for use in marriage and death mostly for altar and burial. The production of vintage and antique Chinese porcelain was developed according to time and dynasty. They are mostly the pots and vases made by the specific process and painted with different colors to make them appear more beautiful, attractive, and luxurious. Mainly Chinese porcelain for sale these days can be divided into three types; hard-paste, bone china, and soft paste. The hard-paste process was the process in which the composed materials were fired at 1,400C which held to produce the product which was strong and hard, although this method was introduced by Chinese people it was very popular in Japan. The soft paste process was made by using clay, also this process is not to be said porcelain because it was not fired at a certain temperature and was only made up of clay with a different process than other methods. As for the bone china method even though this method has the name of china in it was found in England to increase the competition of porcelain between different foreign countries.
