Auction Description

The Estate of a Prominent Collector by Joshua Kodner
This Prominent Collector was an avid collector of Tiffany Studios, Fine Art & Silver Vertu. His love for collecting Tiffany Studios Lamps and metal-ware came from his time working as a highly noted realtor in New York City. He sold properties to several prominent celebrities and entertainers throughout his life. While in New York, This Prominent collection worked for Harry Helmsley, an American real estate billionaire whose company, Helmsley-Spear, became one of the country's largest property holders, owning the Empire State Building and many of New York's most prestigious hotels. After retirement, this collector moved to South Florida and continued to sell real estate while still building his Tiffany Studios Collection. His love for travel only fueled more opportunities to build his lifelong collection which continues to live on with every piece along its journey. Read more
