Lambertville, NJ: Rago Auctions’ November 30 and December 2 jewelry auctions brought in a total of $2,418,551 in sales for 147 consignors, increasing Rago’s 2018 jewelry sales by 24% over 2017 while retaining a stellar sell-through rate above 90%.
This 1103 lot, two-day sale included 636 lots of reserved fine jewelry selling for $2,105,313 and 467 lots selling unreserved for $298,175. The auctions attracted 1,000+ registered bidders online, 113 phone bidders, 109 in room and 82 absentee bidders. Approximately 20% of property sold online, 20% to absentee bidders, 30% to in-room bidders and 30% to phone bidders from the U.S. and abroad.
