The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC) is hosting the last event of its Modern Love Speaker Series on Thursday, May 6th at 5 PM ET. Lilly Chan, AFCC board member, and former executive at auction houses Christie’s and Phillips, will be speaking with Allis Ghim, CEO of online auction platform Bidsquare, and Nelia Moore, fine arts manager at Haven Art Group, about all things art, auctions, and caring for your treasures. They will also be discussing the creative economy’s latest innovations, including its newest phenoms - digital artwork and NFT’s (non-fungible tokens) and how they might shake up the art world!
Whether you're new to auctions or a seasoned bidder, we think you’ll find this Modern Love conversation a fun, informative, and eye-opening way to learn more about buying and caring for art (and anything else!) at auction.
This will be a 30-minute live discussion with time for questions at the end and will take place via Zoom Webinars.
RSVP here to register. Join us and let’s learn together!
Save the Dates! Pre-register now for the AFCC’s upcoming Live Auction streaming from the beautiful Hyannisport Club overlooking Nantucket Sound on Thursday, June 17th, at 6 PM ET, as well as the AFCC’s Timed/Silent Auction June 3rd - June 20th.
