The Antiques Council is a professional association of antique dealers that mandates the highest ethical and professional standards. Members are selected by their peers for the quality of their merchandise, their expertise, and integrity. There are currently more than 80 dealer members throughout the North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. Membership is by invitation only, and all members are evaluated annually. Each member is required to perform the following tasks when selling an item:
Historic Charleston Foundation champions the historic authenticity, cultural character and livability of the Charleston, South Carolina region through advocacy, stewardship and community engagement. An innovator in its field and recognized nationally as a standard-bearer, the Foundation’s two house museums, the Aiken-Rhett and Nathaniel Russell houses, are considered among the country’s finest examples of historic preservation.
The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
The Community House Winnetka is a unique nonprofit organization on Chicago’s North Shore that has played a special role in the community for more than a century. Founded in 1911, the mission of Community House is to enrich the lives of North Shore residents, their families, and friends by providing educational, cultural, social, and recreational opportunities for people of all ages.
